2008 Miss Teen Rodeo Washington
Mandy Milovich

Mandy was crowned Miss Teen Rodeo Washington 2008 at the Miss Rodeo Washington Pageant held in conjunction with the Ellensburg Rodeo. On her way to capturing the crown she also won the Horsemanship, Speech, Photogenic, Appearance, Personality and Knowledge categories.
Eighteen-year-old Mandy is a 2007 graduate of Olympic High School. She is employed as a Marine Pipe fitter at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton and is also pursuing an AAS degree at Olympic College.
Daughter of Jon & Nora Sethney of Tracyton and Mike Milovich of Bremerton, Mandy is the fourth generation to live just a few miles from Thunderbird Stadium where she reigned as the 2007 Kitsap County Fair & Stampede Queen. She won her first crown as the 2006 Queen of the Silver Spur Saddle Club, where her maternal grandfather & uncle once cleared the land with a horse & plow. “I love our little town, every one knows you and we look out for each other”.
Mandy is an avid rider who successfully competed in both Western and English Performance and in Western Games. She has been on the Kitsap County Senior State team three times. She holds thirteen 4H Equine Medals. Her love of riding has led her from Hunter over Fences to Team Penning.
Rodeo has become her favorite pastime, “ I love the sound of a big diesel pulling onto the grounds with horses whinnying out the back, the smell of hotdogs and cotton candy mixed in with dust, the sight of barrel racers warming up, and ropers building a loop. You can’t get more American.”
When not riding her 18-year-old Quarter Horse “Margo’s Minx”, Mandy enjoys camping, four wheeling, and caring for her box turtle "Speed Racer". A fourteen year 4H member and now as a teen leader she gets great joy from mentoring younger members.
Mandy will travel throughout the Pacific Northwest representing the Evergreen State at rodeos, parades and civic events sharing her love of the Western Way of Life with all she meets.
