2008 Little Miss Rodeo Washington

Hello Everyone!!  My name is Peyton Lanning and I am the 2008 Little Miss Rodeo Washington.  I am 8 years old and a 2nd grader at Valley View Elementary.

For the past four years I have been a participant in several barrel racing and junior rodeo associations around the northwest.  NBHA, BRND, KCBR, and EWJRA to name a few.  My partner in crime is a 9 year old registered quarter pony named Concho.  He loves to run fast and compete in all events including goats, poles, flags, and barrels.  I have been riding since I could walk and love to go FAST!! 

I have competed in the Ellensburg Junior Rodeo for the last four years and have been the Pee Wee Goat Untying Champion in 2005 and 2006. 

I also participate in soccer, and basketball and enjoy spending time with my family.  I live with my mom, Molly, my older sister Emma, and my younger brother Cooper in Ellensburg WA.  

I am so excited to represent our state this year and look forward to traveling, meeting new friends, and promoting the sport of rodeo as Little Miss Rodeo Washington!!!
